Direct Primary Care, or DPC, is an affordable model of healthcare that prioritizes the patient and ensures very transparent pricing.

In DPC, your doctor won’t bill your insurance or require co-pays. You pay a monthly membership which gives you access to your doctor when you need it without additional costs. You are able to come in as often as you need to and have all your medical concerns addressed in longer appointments than is typical in insurance based practices.

While we do not use your insurance, we strongly recommend that you have health insurance that can come in very handy if the event of a major health problem requiring surgery or hospitalization. You can also use your health insurance for testing (if preferred), medications, and when you are referred to specialists.

The membership fee allows us to provide the majority of primary care for a simple, fixed price. It allows members to better budget their healthcare finances and helps our practice provide the services we offer at affordable prices. 

Except for clearly itemized one time procedures and naprotechnology consultation, we do not routinely see patients for health concerns who are not members. However, if you would have questions about our membership, we want to get them answered and ensure that our care will be a good fit for you!

Our primary focus is to keep members well and to avoid lots of "medical" care. As such, we can dedicate more time to prevention and lifestyle issues to continue to keep you away from the expensive, cumbersome healthcare system. However, when you do need care, we are easily available to give care. A single ER visit avoided typically pays for a few years of memberships at TreasureMD.

Direct primary care is similar to concierge medicine because they are membership based. However, DPC offers high quality care without the high price tag of concierge and we do not bill your insurance at all.
